An Israeli civilian and an IDF reservist face charges for allegedly using classified military intelligence to profit from prediction market wagers on Polymarket. The Tel Aviv District Court indictment reveals the defendants Leveraged sensitive wartime information related to Israeli operations in Iran during June 2025.

Authorities initiated the case after detecting unusual trading patterns tied to national security events. The breach raised operational security concerns during active conflict, potentially compromising military secrecy and eroding public trust. A joint operation between Shin Bet, Defense Ministry investigators, and Israel Police led to the arrests following a sealed investigation.
